2 pkgs frozen broccoli florets (16oz EACH)
1 can (10 3/4oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups (6oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
1 can (6oz) french fried onions, divided
Cook broccoli according to package. Drain well. In large saucepan, combine soup, sour cream, 1 c cheese and 1 1/4 c onions. Cook over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until heated through. Stir in broccoli.
Pour into greased 2qt dish. Bake, uncovered, at 325* for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and onions on top. Bake 10-15 minutes longer until cheese is melted.
~This recipe calls for two bags. DO NOT SKIMP! When I made this I just had a ton of fresh broccoli. After it was cooked it was just NOT enough for all the other ingredients. More broccoli the better!!!
